Mike Enzi (R-WY) on Obamacare: ‘Restrict medical choices and make the country’s "finances sicker’

Via Ed Morrissey at Hot Air:
Mike Enzi (R-WY) has taken plenty of heat from his conservative constituents for attempting to hammer out a bipartisan health-care reform bill in the Senate. However, Enzi appears frustrated not with Wyoming voters but with the Democrats on the other side of the table. With just a few days left before Congress resumes work, Enzi blasted the Democrats for spending too much money and limiting patient choice, when what America needs is the exact opposite. (More)
As Ed goes on to note, if the Democrats can’t bend enough to get the likes of moderate Mike Enzi on board, then the operative definition of bipartisan has to be “bye-bye, Republicans” and the Democrats will have to run the risk of looking both radical and dictatorial in pushing through a plan that has generated anger and revulsion across the nation. To this regard I’m not sure that the Democrats actually give a Tinker’s damn and care more about accomplishing their agenda to take over the health-care of Americans than the concerns of the majority of Americans. Unfortunately, though they may pay for such lack of concern in 2010, by then the real damage to Americaa’s health-care system and its economy will have already been done and the Democrats would have already turned over control of 1/6 of our economy to the federal government while providing Americans with far fewer choices in medical care.
