Another Obama stealthy tax hike

Apparently, Obama wants big financials to fund a proposed consumer-protection agency, and as Chip Hanlon notes at Red County, setting aside the fact that what consumers need to be protected from is Washington, because the defects which were most responsible for the financial bust were structural ones created by government, don’t think for a moment that banks will be paying for this new agency - it’s going to be taxpayers that are doing the paying.
